The sessions fly by. Students are so engaged and engrossed in the activities. It rarely feels like we are learning. But that's ok, because learning should be fun, and they are making so much progress for it.

I started the monthly quests because I love teaching in creative ways. I love helping children become curious, let their imagination flow and I just felt I could help parents.

When I do something I want to do it and do it well, and each month I have tried to improve it by listening and acting upon feedback.

I absolutely love how families are loving the new project style guide! However, I made an epic fail this month and half of it is unreadable! I am learning, I am growing and I will keep making it better :)

But today, I put my hands up and say September's didn't go to plan. In converting and compressing files I've ended up making half of it unreadable.

I just want to own it, apologise and find a solution.

I have written up the ones that got muddled and sent them to as many families as I can this morning!

Thank you for your continued support - I don't always get it right, but then as much as I love to think I have super powers, I'm still human :)

We spent some time solving perimeter problems by making the different shapes first.

Did you know that in my Maths Unscrambled group we have a whole session specifically on reasoning and problem solving?

This means we can really build your child's number skills and maths knowledge, and then have another opportunity to practise - this time to apply it.

I'm not going to apologise for using an AI image here.

I've painstakingly built each project to help learning happen naturally, without feeling forced or heavy.

My goal is to make the guide easy to use for parents who are short of time, need a ready, done for you plan, aren't sure what they should be doing.

And I think, with Chat GPTs help to present it, I've achieved that.
