Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children from 9 months to 4 and a half years old.
Duties
Plan and spontaneously deliver engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years
Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through personalised care, helping children to develop their independence and autonomy.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Observe, record, and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues. Developing next steps of development tailored to individual children.
Assist in organising daily routines such as mealtimes and outdoor play
Supervise children during outings or trips outside the nursery setting
Ensure compliance with all childcare policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Requirements
Good communication skills in English, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy environment
Passionate about working with young children and committed to their holistic development
