❤️📚World Book Day at Jubilee ❤️📚
The children had an amazing day celebrating all things reading!
Thank you to the brilliant for visiting as teaching our younger children all about ! They loved creating their own creatures.
A HUGE thank you to for facilitating super fun visits to spend our £1 book tokens, as well as arranging author visits and a playground book sale!
We also loved taking part in the , the Great Big Footy & Booky Quiz with and the Magic Library writing workshop.
All this in addition to our annual costume/pyjama parade and teacher swap story time!

Year 5 absolutely loved today’s workshop with the brilliant ! They loved hearing how Jeffrey grew up in our local area and uses his own childhood and interests as inspiration for his books. They also enjoyed learning all about the 1990s and creating rapper names - and the teachers particularly enjoyed playing the Gladiators quiz and Family Fortunes! We have lots of young writers inspired to draw on their own experiences and keep notes of their bright ideas! Thank you !

Thank you so much for visiting our Phase 1 children today as part of ! The children had a wonderful time listening to ‘We are family’, talking about different families and learning about baby animals. They’ve been busily finishing off their own baby animal fact files this afternoon! 📚🐾⭐️

have been busy engineers today taking inspiration from Rosie Revere, Engineer! They’ve designed bridges based on criteria, built in teams, tested and evaluated their builds. We’re so impressed with their teamwork and creativity! 👷🏾‍♀️👷🏼‍♂️

We’ve had such a fantastic first week back, especially as we have been thinking about . Today everyone looked fantastic wearing blue to show their support. Thank you to all those who work so hard in our Sunshine Centre to support our autistic learners.

HISTORY WEEK! The children loved visiting the Secret Garden to do their archeological digs! They found so many artefacts which made us ask questions and led to lots of interesting conversations about life in the past. 🔍 We can’t wait to share some of their amazing observational drawings with you next week! ✏️

to our brilliant last week! Children across the school wore odd socks to celebrate what makes each of us unique! They loved telling their peers what they think is special about them.
