I’ve learned that not every disappointment means I wasn’t good enough.
Sometimes I worked hard, did everything I could, and things still didn’t go the way I expected.
For a long time, I thought the answer was always to push harder. But sometimes, life is simply asking us to change direction.
And maybe that’s not failure. Maybe it’s part of the journey.
Have you ever had a “closed door” that eventually led you somewhere better?

Sometimes I think about how much of our life comes down to the choices we make.

I don’t know if I fully believe that everything is written in destiny. Maybe some things are outside of our control, but I do believe we have a choice in how we respond, what we do next, and which direction we decide to take.

Our choices don’t guarantee an easy life or success. But they can slowly shape the road we take.

So if you’re a mum going through a difficult moment right now, please remember this: **you are not alone.**

And please don’t compare your reality to someone else’s Instagram.

What you see here is only a small part of someone’s life. Behind the photos, the smiles and the “perfect” moments, there can be uncertainty, stress, tears, financial worries, relationship struggles, or simply a mum trying to figure things out.

Not everything is shared.

So keep going. Make the best choice you can with what you know today. Take one small step. And when you fall, start again.

Your current chapter is not necessarily your final destination. 🤍

And if you’re a European mum living in London, I’d love to hear from you.
What was the biggest cultural adjustment for you as a mum? And what helped you adapt?
Share it in the comments — especially if you’ve already been through nursery or school.
Your experience might make another mum’s transition a little easier.

A little restart, a little more of me. 🤍

From now on, you’ll see more of my real thoughts, my point of view and the way I see life as a bilingual mum living in the UK — but born in Moldova and having lived in Italy for eight years.

Culture, healthcare, education, lifestyle, money, motherhood and all the little things we experience every day — through my eyes and my experiences.

Because when you’ve lived in different countries, you can’t help but compare. You automatically think: *“How would this be in Moldova?” “What would this look like in Italy?”*

And I’ve learned that moving countries is not only about adapting to a new place. It’s about adapting to a different culture, different ways of thinking and different ways of living.

Sometimes it’s exciting. Sometimes it’s challenging. And sometimes… it’s painful.

But maybe finding your place isn’t about choosing one culture over another.

Maybe it’s about learning to take what is good from each one and creating a life that feels like home. 🤍

This is my new chapter. Let’s see where it takes me.

I truly believe that peace within us is at the centre of everything. 🤍
When we feel calm inside, we bring more patience, connection and safety into our relationships — especially within our family.
A peaceful heart creates a peaceful home. And that’s where so much of our children’s emotional world begins.
