Well apart from enjoying tons of tennis this week it’s been busy with teaching and auditions.

This weekend I am taping with a young actor for the new Wes Anderson movie and prepping another for the recall for a very exciting new play which is going to be huge and ‘strange’ and scary!! 😜

Get ready for September Lamda over the summer! Happy to work some time into the holidays.

Starting to get busy with bookings for September so get in touch if you want a slot to do Acting/Verse & Prose/Public Speaking.

Zoom recalls can be stressful if you are meeting the director and the casting director. Make sure your camera/phone set up is in place and you know it will link up when you want it to. A pile of books on a table works well if you don’t have a tripod.

If you are recalled you’ve done something right that they like so if they go straight in for a take do it as before and then listen and take the direction if given for a second take.

Tips if you are taking your exams.

Have a sip of water before you go in after your vocal warm up.

Try to relax. Take some deep breaths before you enter the room. The examiner wants you to do well!

Head up and walk in with confidence!
Say good morning/afternoon.

Set your props up for you first piece before introducing it.

After each piece hold for a couple of seconds in character.

Break a leg!!! You’ll be amazing.

Lamda is wonderful for confidence at any age. The higher grades provide UCAS points as well.
