তিনি আমাদের পুরস্কার অনুষ্ঠানের জন্যও কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেছেন — এটিকে অর্থবহ কিছু হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি দিয়েছেন। এমন একটি মুহূর্ত যেখানে শিশুরা তাদের প্রতি সপ্তাহের পরিশ্রমের জন্য স্বীকৃত অনুভব করে।

We were honoured to welcome Professor Chris Imafidon to our annual award ceremony — and even more honoured by what he had to say. 🎓

Professor Imafidon is one of the most respected education figures in the United Kingdom. A multi-Guinness World Record holder, Chair of ExcellenceInEducation.org.uk, former head at Queen Mary University of London, adviser to governments across Europe, and the man the BBC describes as the "Patriarch of the brainiest family ever." He has taught at Oxford, Harvard and Cambridge. His daughter Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon is the youngest person ever to pass an A-level computing exam in the UK and President of the British Science Association.

His core belief — one he has dedicated his life to — is this: every child is a genius, if given the right environment and the right support.

At our award ceremony, Professor Imafidon praised Excel Tutors for its contribution to improving attainment for children in East London, and singled out our award ceremony itself as exactly the kind of initiative that recognises children's hard work and motivates them to go even further.

He serves as Academic Advisor to Excel Tutors — and his words on that day reminded us of exactly why we do what we do.

Every child who sat in that room deserved to be celebrated. And they were. 🏆

That is Mahib's story. And we are so proud to share it.
