Happy Halloween!
Children had a fun day in their fancy costumes. Lots of different characters from dinasours, bats, superheroes to witches and mermaids joined us today. They all joined in in food preparation for our afternoon party.

Preschool got really creative making their nature inspired clay faces. They gathered natural resources from the park and transformed them into incredible creations. They were not all spooky or scary but they all provided great sensory and creative stimulation. Children talked about different emotions and they tried to guess what emotions each face represented.

Development of early literacy skills and love for reading starts early. Our babies love reading books by themselves as well as listening to stories read to them. Story time is part of our daily routine in all classrooms but children often request their favourite books to be read during the day.
See the link below for some ideas on how to support your babies literacy development.
