‘Man Of The House’ by our Beckenham Pros 🎬🤍
HFTD Short Film Project 2026

This moving film explores the pressures young men can face, and how difficult it can be to open up and express emotion.

After losing their dad while he was serving in the army, Dan struggles to process his grief and let his friends and family in, feeling the pressure to step up and become the ‘man of the house’. 🤍

A really important story, beautifully brought to life by our Beckenham Pros.

We are so excited to welcome the fabulous Carleen McCarthy to HFTD in just a few weeks! 🤍🎬

We’ve worked closely with Carleen for years during her time as Agency Manager & Senior Talent Agent at Alphabet Kidz, and we’re so excited to continue working with her as she launches her own talent agency, McCarthy Talent , representing both children and adults.

Carleen is a hugely experienced and established agent and is currently building her client list, so she’s keen to meet lots of exciting new talent. She is also absolutely fabulous and we can’t wait to have her in the room again with our students! ✨

Our Pros workshop is already FULLY BOOKED, with just a few spaces remaining for Juniors.

✨ Open to all HFTD members
✨ Completely FREE to attend

We can’t wait! 🤍🎬

We LOVED our West Wickham launch last night! 🎬✨

We got straight into some detailed on-camera work, exploring facial expressions, beats and how the smallest choices can make a huge difference on screen.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our first night! 🤍

We’re now at St Francis Church Hall every Wednesday evening for ages 7–18, and trials are still available if you’d like to come and join us! 🎭🎥

Thankyou to our West Wickham team Maggie, Eleanor and Olivia🫶

Thank you so much for having us, The King Alfred School 🎭🎥🏫

Today, Giorgia, Nell and Josh visited King Alfred’s School in North West London to meet the drama students and lead a screen acting masterclass 💜

We loved working with such a brilliant group of students. The staff and students made us feel so welcome, and we hope to see some of you at a free trial at our Crouch End or Hampstead academies soon! 🥰🎥🙌
