This isn’t your average camp experience.

Every year our virtual Minecraft & Roblox camps sell out. Not because they’re excellent (though they are!), but because there simply aren’t many options designed specifically for neurodivergent young people.

We run small groups with low-demand participation, led by a 100% neurodivergent team who understand how different brains work — because they live it too.

It’s a space where ND kids can play, connect and be themselves without pressure.

Easter and Summer Half-Term spaces have just gone live and they usually go quickly. Head to our site for full information.

If you’ve been looking for something that actually works for your child, now’s the time. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Don’t miss out. 🎮

Huge news for us at Uncommon 💜

Our founder Kirsten Jack has been named a finalist for Wellbeing Champion of the Year at the Neurodiverse Business Awards.

Kirsten built Uncommon to be a space where neurodivergent young people are understood, believed, and championed, a space led by mentors who share lived experience & a space where difference is never a deficit.

Every mentoring session, every club, every last night thinking about how to make things more inclusive, kinder and more accessible for our community starts with her vision.

We are so proud - Congratulations Kirsten 💫

Traditional mentoring doesn’t work for every child - and that’s okay.

At Uncommon, our 1:1 mentoring meets neurodivergent children and teens where they already feel safe, confident and engaged: inside the games they love.

Through games like Minecraft and Roblox, our trained mentors build genuine relationships with young people in familiar digital worlds.

In-game mentoring creates space to:
• build communication and social confidence
• practise emotional regulation and problem-solving
• develop self-esteem and independence
• feel understood without pressure

By entering their world, we’re able to support learning, wellbeing and development in a way that feels natural, respectful and empowering.

Explore our mentoring options via our website or DM us for more information.

Because we work flexibly and understand that life happens, two last-minute places have become available on our Transitioning to Secondary School course for neurodivergent children aged 9–12.

This course usually fills well in advance, but we understand some families needed to change plans.

If you’re feeling that mix of “we need support” and “it all feels a bit soon to be thinking about secondary” this course is designed exactly for that moment.

The course starts Monday 26 January and once these two places are gone, that’s it, because we always keep cohort sizes small to support young people.

⏰ Last call - course starts Monday 27 January

If your neurodivergent teenager is struggling with confidence, masking through the school day, or feeling like they don’t quite fit, this course is designed for them.

Understanding My Brain helps 12–16 year olds:
• understand why they think, feel and react the way they do
• build confidence without pressure to “fix” themselves
• learn practical tools for stress, friendships and sensory overwhelm
• connect with other neurodivergent young people who just get it

🧠 Small groups of 4-12 young people
🧡 Neuro-affirming, low-demand sessions
🗓 Starts 27 January

⚠️ Places are limited and very nearly full.

Once booking closes, the next opportunity won’t be until later in the year - don’t miss out!

“I don’t fit in and don’t think anyone will ever understand me.”

If your child has said this - or something like it - you’re not alone.

Many neurodivergent young people feel this way, especially when anxiety builds about school, friendships, or the week ahead. These feelings aren’t a failure. They’re a response to being misunderstood for too long.

Our Understanding My Brain course is designed for neurodivergent young people (with or without a diagnosis).

Delivered in small, supportive groups of 4-12 young people, it combines evidence-based psycho-education and peer support to help young people:
• understand how their brain works
• feel less alone in their experiences
• build confidence and self-acceptance

Courses start 26th & 27th January - don’t miss out, there’s only a couple of slots left!
