We teach in schools and in our own drama centres across North London. We cater for students from 4 years old - up to adult.

We’re pleased to recognise Avi with a Showstopper Award! 🎭✨

Avi has shown fantastic consistency in his work this term and has challenged himself creatively by experimenting with new accents for his Reading for Performance presentation.

🎭 Make an entrance!

Did you know your performance starts before you even speak?

The way you walk onto the stage can immediately tell your audience something about your character. Your posture, pace, facial expression and focus can all help set the scene and bring your character to life.

So next time you perform, think about what your entrance is saying before you say a word!

🎭 Teacher Spotlight: Meet Lexie Woodroof

We’re delighted to welcome Lexie to the RM Drama team! Originally from the United States, Lexie is a London-based theatre director, producer and drama practitioner. She holds an MFA in Theatre Directing from the University of East London and a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Northern Kentucky University.

Lexie has nearly a decade of experience teaching and mentoring children and young people through private tuition, workshops and schools. Her experience includes Shakespeare, musical theatre, speech and voice, audition preparation and creative writing.

She believes drama should be a place where students feel challenged, encouraged and excited to take creative risks — building confidence both on stage and beyond it. ✨

Did you know actors in Ancient Greek theatre wore masks? 🎭

Masks helped performers represent different characters and emotions, while also making it easier for large audiences to see and understand who they were watching.

From ancient amphitheatres to modern stages, theatre has certainly come a long way! ✨

A huge congratulations to Anya for receiving a Showstopper Award! 🎭✨

Anya consistently works incredibly hard and has shown fantastic attention to detail, particularly in matching her facial expressions to her vocal expression - a brilliant achievement for a Year 1 student.

She has also been doing fantastic work on the communication element of her exam, articulating herself exceptionally well and showing growing confidence in her skills.

Well done, Anya - keep up the amazing work! 👏🌟

A little throwback to last term, when our Buckingham Prep students took on their LAMDA exams!

From fingers crossed before the exam to proudly showing off their work and those all-important post-exam smiles, it was fantastic to see so much confidence, excitement and achievement.

There’s always something exciting happening at RM Drama! 🎭

From in-school drama workshops and Shakespeare sessions to holiday workshops and performance opportunities, there are lots of ways for students to get involved, build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the creativity of drama.

We’ve already confirmed our February Half Term Workshop, inspired by The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and there are more exciting workshops and opportunities in the pipeline that we’ll be sharing soon.
