The Glade PTA are delighted to announce we will be holding our first Sip and Paint event for parents on Friday 19th June from 6pm to 8pm.

As we approach KS2 SATs exams next week, we want to take a moment to wish all of our wonderful Year 6 children the very best of luck.

Year 6, the time has come,
SATs week’s almost here,
But remember how hard you’ve worked
Throughout this whole school year.

These tests will show some things you’ve learned,
And all the facts you know,
But SATs can’t show your creativity,
Or how much you can grow.

They can’t show your sporting talents,
Your artwork or your song,
Your kindness, care and teamwork,
Or all the ways you shine so strong.

So, all we ask is try your best,
That’s all you need to do,
Because no test could ever show,
How brilliant you all are too.

Get lots of rest and sleep this weekend,
And walk in feeling proud,
Because we already know you’re amazing-
And you’ll make our school proud!

Join us after school for our book sale! A wide range of children’s books will be available, with prices from just 20p to £1.

All money raised will support and develop our OPAL provision, helping improve play opportunities for all pupils.

What a fantastic performance of Peter Pan. The children showed great confidence, enthusiasm, and teamwork as they brought the story of Neverland to life through acting, singing, and movement. Their hard work and dedication were evident throughout, making it an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone. Well done Year 4- we are very proud of you!

We were delighted to welcome parents and carers into school for our recent OPAL & ISS Taster Day. The event gave families a wonderful opportunity to experience school life alongside their children.

Parents enjoyed sampling a selection of dishes from our school lunch menu, offering a real taste of the nutritious and delicious meals provided each day. It was also a great chance to speak directly with our cook and the ISS manager, ask questions, and learn more about how our meals are planned and prepared.

In addition, families were invited to explore our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) provision. Children and adults alike had great fun engaging with the wide range of play opportunities on offer, highlighting the importance of creative, active play in our school day.
