Sign up today for autumn term clubs!

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are once again pleased to be able to offer a wide range of clubs for the term. Please take a look at the list below, discuss with your child(ren) and complete the form below. Please complete an individual form for each child and ensure that you include their full name at the top. Places will be filled on a first come first served basis. Once place have been allocated, club leaders will be in touch with full details.

Arts and Crafts - Years 2,3,4 - Thursday lunchtime.

Carrom board - Years 3,4,5,6 - Monday lunchtime

Gymnastics - Year 3,4,5,6 - Thursday 3:30pm - 4:30pm

Trace and Connect Club (Art) - Years 2,3,4,5,6 - Monday 8am - 8:45am

Lego - Years 1,2,3,4,5,6 - Wednesday - 3:30pm - 4:30pm

Origami - Years 3,4,5 - Tuesday - 8:00am - 8:45am

Embroidery - Years 3,4,5,6 - Thursday - 3:30pm - 4:30pm

Homework help - Years 3,4,5,6 - Tuesday - 8:00am - 8:45am

We hope that everyone had a lovely summer break and look forward to seeing you back at school on Thursday 3rd September at the usual time.

Soft start is from 8:45am - 8:55am. Any children arriving at school after 8:55am will be marked as late.

Children are to be dropped off in the morning at their allocated gate where staff will support with getting them to their classrooms. At the end of the day, please collect from outside your child's classroom.

Year 1 - Drop off at the main gate on Atherton road and collect from the last door on the field side by the main hall. Year 1 will line up with their class teacher in the playground the first few days to aid with transition.
Year 2 - Drop off at the main gate on Atherton road or the Harewood drive entrance. Collect from the Year 2 classrooms - playground side by the allotment area. 2R up small steps and 2T from the other side.
Year 3 - Drop off at the main gate on Atherton road and collect from the Year 3 classrooms - playground side. 3M first door and 3S second door.
Year 4 - Drop off at the main gate on Atherton road and collect from the Year 4 classrooms by the wooden veranda garden area. 4M first door and 4Z second door.
Year 5 - Drop off and collect from the back gate on Harewood drive.
Year 6 - Drop off at the main gate on Atherton road. 6W collect from the first door on the field and 6A collect from the second door on the field.

If Year 6 children have permission to walk home by themselves, this must be in writing to the office.

School timings:
Year 1 and 2 finish at 3:30pm
Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 finish at 3:20pm.

Visit the Pop-Up Good Food Hub and pick up free preloved school uniform. You can pick up to five items for free.

Open Tuesdays to Thursdays, 10am to 3pm throughout the school holidays. On Wednesdays staff can assist with sizing.

To celebrate the end of their primary school journey, our special Year 6 Leavers' Assembly celebrated the different talents and achievements of our wonderful children. From poetry, art, music, instrumental performances and dance to sporting success and academic excellence, every child had the opportunity to shine.

A huge thank you to our fantastic PTA for organising a special breakfast for our Year 6 families, making the morning even more memorable.

Congratulations, Year 6! Keep believing in yourselves, work hard, and never stop sharing your talents with the world. We wish you every success and happiness as you begin your next adventure.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Glade Primary School has achieved OPAL Gold Accreditation! 🥇

Achieving Gold just 12 months into our OPAL journey is an incredible milestone and reflects the dedication, enthusiasm and teamwork of our whole school community.

A huge thank you to all our families for your continued support. Whether you've donated resources, volunteered your time or embraced our vision for play, you have all helped make this possible.

A very special thank you goes to Ms A. Hussain, whose exceptional leadership, creativity and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in making OPAL such a success at Glade. 💚

Year 6 Residential – Day 2 at Stubbers Adventure Centre

Another action-packed day for our Year 6 children at Stubbers! Today they took on canoeing, high ropes, archery and axe throwing, showing fantastic courage, resilience and teamwork throughout each activity.
