Session days/times and fees:
We are open during term time Mon-Fri 9.00 to 12.00 and on Weds and Fri 12.30-15.30 (for 3 ½ years + only). The fees are £16.50 a session (as of Sept 2021). Fees are payable ½ termly. From the term after your child’s third birthday (Sept, Jan, April) their fees are paid for by the Government. The funding will pay for 5 sessions (15 hours) per week for 38 weeks of the year. History:
The Pre-school nursery was established in 1993 for children in the Joydens Wood area. Sharon Bransgrove is the Pre-school Supervisor and Jenny Griffin the Deputy Supervisor together they are joined by a team of 7 Pre-school Assistants one of whom is a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO). Many families chose this nursery for it’s community atmosphere & warm and nurturing staff. All staff are CRB checked and have many years experience/qualifications (most staff have NVQ Level 3 or above in Early Years). How we are managed:
We are a registered charity and therefore are required to have a committee made up of parents of children who are at the
Pre-School. We welcome new parents to join the committee and appreciate their involvement in the running of the Pre-School.
