Today, we invite you to the public launch of the Essential Skills Tracker on Tuesday 1 March, 9-10am.

Building off the Partnership’s groundbreaking work last year which established the links between essential skills and key outcomes for young people, this new Tracker takes a view across the whole population. More than 2,200 adults of all ages completed a full self-assessment against the Skills Builder Framework in collaboration with YouGov. The result is the most complete picture we've ever had of who is building their essential skills, and what the impact of those skills are.

We hope you will join us to hear from the authors of the report, to hear reflections from the excellent panel, and to get to ask your questions too.

The report digs into issues of unemployment, the skills gap, and the role of education as we face challenges like the climate crisis.

Reports like this from go to show just how relevant and critical work in promoting essential skills is across a range of aspects.

The report's global focus also highlights our work's international relevance and applicability.

In our final blog of 2021, we look back on our key learnings from a challenging year.

This year hasn’t been an easy one for anyone. However, we've been so impressed by the efforts of our partners over the last year. Together, we’re able to continue to pursue our mission: to ensure that one day, everyone builds the essential skills to succeed.
