What do duck herding and mindset training have in common?
Here’s a post I never thought I’d be writing… but actually, more than you might expect!
Both require:
🧠 A willingness to get involved and step outside your comfort zone
🔁 The ability to learn from mistakes and adapt in the moment
🎯 Letting go of what you can’t control, and focusing on what you can
💥 And most importantly, getting comfortable with being uncomfortable!
This time last week, I had my first ever duck herding experience 🦆 as I had the pleasure of running the Ian Gibbs Estate Management Team building day.
We spent the day at the Fortyhallvineyard, exploring how mindset influences both performance and wellbeing, and how small shifts in thinking can lead to big outcomes.
We also looked at what drives behaviour, helping us understand why we think and react the way we do, how to manage our own responses, and how to get better reactions from others.
If you’re looking for something different for your next team day, or want a guest speaker on mindset or 1:1 mindset coaching for your team, feel free to get in touch!
