Why do CIPD members feel more confident about their career prospects?
According to a recent CIPD survey, 68% of HR professionals believe the people profession offers good career prospects.
Among CIPD members, that figure rises to 84%.
That got us thinking...
Perhaps it's not just about having a qualification or membership.
Perhaps it's about what comes with it:
π Continuous learning
π€ A professional community
π‘ Greater confidence in applying knowledge
π Keeping up with the changing world of work
Professional development doesn't guarantee career progression.
But it can give you the confidence, credibility and capability to take the next step when opportunities arise.
π¬ Why do you think CIPD members feel more positive about their career prospects? We'd love to hear your thoughts.

Would you invest in a qualification if it could increase your earning potential?
According to Lightcast UK labour market data, HR roles requesting a CIPD qualification pay up to Β£4,400 (16%) more than comparable roles that don't request one.
Of course, a qualification alone doesn't guarantee a higher salary. Experience, skills and performance all matter.
But this statistic highlights something important: employers continue to place real value on professionally recognised HR qualifications.
For many HR professionals, a CIPD qualification isn't just about gaining knowledge; it's about building credibility and confidence and opening the door to future career opportunities.
What's your biggest reason for considering a CIPD qualification?
Career progression? Higher earning potential? Confidence? Or something else?

Last night, we brought together HR professionals from across our community for another HR Voices webinar to explore The Future of HR Diversity: Leading Inclusion in a Changing UK Workplace.
A huge thank you to our fantastic host, Idris Arshad, and our inspiring guest speakers, Adese Okojie and Natalia-Nana Lester-Bush, for sharing their expertise, experiences and practical perspectives.
The discussion explored the role of leadership in driving meaningful inclusion, why workplace culture matters just as much as policies, and how open conversations can help organisations create environments where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
It was also fantastic to see so many thoughtful questions and reflections from attendees, making it a truly engaging and valuable session.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, we look forward to seeing you at the next HR Voices webinar!

It's never "too late."
Not after five years. Not after ten.
And certainly not after twenty.
One of our recent learners returned to studying after almost two decades away from education and successfully completed their CIPD Level 7 journey.
Reading stories like this reminds us that qualifications aren't just about gaining knowledge.
They're about rediscovering confidence.
Thank you, Vivek, for your wonderful review and for letting us be part of your journey.

Can digital transformation improve learning?
Absolutely.
Because great training isn't only about what you learn.
It's also about how you learn.
The systems behind the scenes.
The learner support.
The flexibility.
The accessibility.
The experience.
Receiving the Small Business Digital Transformation Award is recognition of our commitment to continually improving every part of that journey.
For us, innovation has always had one goal: creating a better experience for every learner.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey; we're excited for what's next.

How can 260 million young people be outside employment, education or training, while employers say they canβt find the skills they need?
And how many young people know that a career in HR is about far more than hiring and paperwork?
HR professionals help shape workplace culture. They support people through difficult moments. They influence how organisations recruit, develop and retain talent. And they work across areas including employee relations, learning and development, reward, wellbeing, people analytics and organisational change.
Yet for many young people, HR is still a career they discover by accident rather than choose from the start.
On World Youth Skills Day, perhaps we should be asking:
Are we doing enough to show the next generation where a career in HR could take them?
The HR profession needs fresh perspectives, new ideas and people who understand the changing expectations of the workforce.
Today, we celebrate young people building their skills and encourage more of them to consider the opportunities available within the people profession.
Could HR be the career more young people should know about?

"Maybe next year..."
It's one of the most common things we hear from HR professionals considering a CIPD qualification.
The truth is, it's rarely a lack of ambition that holds people back. More often, it's uncertainty.
π Am I experienced enough?
π Will I have time?
π What if I choose the wrong level?
The good news? You're not alone, and most of these concerns are easier to overcome than you might think.
Every HR journey is different, which is why there's no one-size-fits-all answer. The key is choosing the right qualification for your experience, career goals, and lifestyle.
If you're thinking about becoming CIPD qualified but aren't sure where to start, our friendly Course Advisors are here to help. No pressure, no obligation, just honest advice to help you make the right decision.

Creating a more neuroinclusive workplace isn't about having all the answers.
It's about asking better questions.
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Daniel Aherne as our guest speaker for another fantastic HR Voices webinar, hosted by Natasia Hieber.
Daniel challenged us to rethink what inclusion really means, showing that sometimes the smallest changes in communication, leadership, and workplace design can have the biggest impact.
A huge thank you to Daniel for sharing his knowledge, experience, and practical advice, and to everyone who joined us for such an insightful discussion.
Because when people feel understood, everyone benefits. π
