So proud to announce that we were the recipients of the Secondary School Innovation Award at the PIEoneer Awards 2026!πŸ†

This award recognises secondary schools that are pioneering new approaches to global education, specifically for international students by cultivating creativity, STEM skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and global citizenship from an early age.

It is incredibly rewarding to be recognised for what we are doing. We are so proud of the team behind the scenes as well as the faculty who support you all to ensure we provide the best education we can!

Every year, we find ourselves saying the same thing: we can't quite believe how far this community has come and how much further it continues to grow. 🧑

This past year has been full of milestones with many proud moments built by our staff and students showing us exactly why MVA exists in the first place. We've watched our community achieve things we're genuinely so proud of.

Every proud moment we've celebrated this year has been built by this community, together.

If you're just starting your journey with us, welcome! We're so glad you're here. What you've seen is only a snapshot of what this community achieves, and we can't wait for you to become part of the next chapter.

Because we're not standing still. We're constantly evolving and getting better, year after year, thanks to the people who make MVA what it is.

Here's to another year full of moments worth celebrating, together. πŸš€βœ¨

Even while school has been closed, we have been very busy over the summer!

Here are a few flicks of what we got up to while you were all away, because yes even while you all were on holiday we were working hard behind the scenes to make sure you all have the best welcome back we can possibly give you.

See you all soonπŸ˜„

This weekend, our Chief Marketing Officer, Azhar, took on the Sydney Marathon 2026 and watching him push through every single mile was honestly one of the most inspiring things we've seen this year.

Moments like this are exactly why we're proud of the community we're building. From the people leading our school to the families who make up our MVA world, this is a community full of people doing genuinely cool and inspiring things! We love celebrating that every chance we get.

That's the kind of energy we want running through everything we do, from the back of the school to the front of it. Huge congratulations to Azhar on an incredible achievement, we are so proud. πŸ‘

If mornings before school feel like a battle in your house, you're not the only one. We talk to parents every week who've tried everything and nothing sticks, because the problem was really the environment itself.

Online school isn't the fallback option it used to be. For a lot of teenagers, it's the thing that finally lets them show up and actually learn. So if you're exhausted and looking for a different way, it might be worth finding out why online schools are now here to stay.

What an incredible Results Day for our MVA family. πŸŽ‰

We are so proud of every single one of our students this results season and we wanted to share why.

This year, 72.2% of our IGCSE students achieved grade 4+, outperforming the national average of 67.0%, with top grades (7+) reaching 31.7%, a full 10 points above the national benchmark.

For students who sat their exams through Pearson's Remote Invigilation Service from home, top grades rose to 30.5%, showing just how much talent can be unlocked when exams are made accessible.

Our MVA6 Sixth Form students were equally outstanding, with 15% achieving A*–A and 74% achieving A*–E, alongside a 100% pass rate at the top grades in both EPQ and BTEC Esports.

But what makes us proudest isn't just the numbers. Half of our MVA6 cohort received SEND support, more than double the national average. So many of our students balanced their studies with elite sport, mental health recovery, or additional learning needs. Every grade tells a story of real determination.

To all of our students and their families: thank you for being part of the MVA community, and huge congratulations on everything you've achieved this year. We are cheering you on for whatever comes next. πŸ’›πŸŽ“

Attendance is not just a passing number, but it is an indicator a child feels able and willing to learn at school.

For so many of our students, showing up to school used to be the hardest part of the day. At MVA, that changes. Because when school understands each child's needs, showing up stops being a battle.

The numbers speak for themselves, but behind every stat is a young person who's finally back in the room.

Mentoring that makes the difference. 🎾

Maxim plays competitive tennis at Under 14 level. Last year, his attendance dropped to just 33% which was a moment that he and his parents agreed they never wanted to reach again.

With the right support behind him, including an academic advisor who understood exactly what he needed to balance school and sport, Maxim turned things around completely. Since then, he's won 5 singles titles in a row.

This is what mentoring at MVA looks like not just keeping students on track, but helping them thrive on their own terms!

At MVA, we believe every student deserves the chance to thrive, no matter how they learn. So when we looked at the numbers this year, we knew we had to share them with you.

Nationally, SEND pupils score an average of 3.3 on outcome measures. Our SEND students? They achieved 4.62 which is 40% higher than the national average.

But what really matters to us is this: across England, there's typically a 14.6 percentage point gap between SEND and non-SEND students. At MVA, that gap is just 0.08. Almost closed.

That's not down to luck. It's down to small classes, dedicated teachers, and a way of learning that flexes around each student, not the other way round.

To every SEND student and family who's part of our MVA community, this is for you. πŸ’™

"It's been great for our daughter. It's been great for our family unit."

That's how one MVA dad describes his daughter's experience with us. She's made friends. She's learning at her own pace, in a low-demand environment that actually fits who she is. Not forced into the same mould as everyone else, just supported to grow in the way that works for her.

"Conventional education isn't for everyone... this school recognises that fact, and that's really important."

If this sounds like the kind of back to school your child needs, there's still time to make the switch. Enrolment for September closes 25th August - come and see what could look like for your family.
