I’ve been working since 10am yesterday by the time I finish tonight I would’ve done 36 hours straight work! Sounds cool right? But there is a massive difference between hard work and quality work. 🧐

I know my brain is fried and burnt out and that I will need extra time for recovery now. It’s not my usual practice as quality work is way more important. Sometimes you do have to give that extra mile to gain that extra mile on your journey. However from my experience quality work in shorter bursts are way more powerful! A rested mind is a powerful mind! 🙏🏽

I’m a day late but I don’t feel a single day should be International Women’s day. Everyday should be. Everyday we should be showing appreciation to one another, we all provide each other with things that aid us on our journey. However I will always hold my Mother to a higher respect. 🙌🏾

My mother has shown me the world. Show me how to act, how to speak, how to be a better man, how to work hard and chase your dreams. She continues to teach me even to this day. She sacrificed everything for me and my siblings and even does today. I cannot be more grateful for the blessing of a powerful woman in my life. Now I also have a powerful wife, she keeps me motivated and reminds me of my vision when I get tired and down. Reminds me to focus on what truly matters! 💙

Too often we try to compare ourselves to others on social media. How happy we are, how much money/success we’ve made, how many material objects we have etc. However the majority of people don’t show the painful times and also a lot of people (especially in the trading community) fake their success online. 🤷🏽‍♂️

It’s always best I’ve found to focus on ourselves. To celebrate our own hard work and to recognise just how far we’ve come. To appreciate the good times after every hardship we’ve managed to get through. More importantly in the trading space is to focus on your own results. Otherwise we end up trying to match people and this can cost us big time! Focus on self and self importance will grow. You will strive and this will add to your clarity! 💙

In regards to trading you need to always be ready to learn. No matter what level you think you’re at, there’s always more to learn and room to improve. Trading will humble you many times, once you remain humble you will start to find more consistent results🙌🏾

I have to remember trading isn’t about trying to make crazy amounts of money on every trade. It’s about making consistent and disciplined trades that fit within your plan. We have to keep in mind that we are trying to get out of our jobs and free up Time. So aim firstly to make side income, then job income and then to the higher levels. Work at each level until it’s mastered before you move up. 💙

Mental health and clarity is very important to focus on. Even more important I would say then physical health. The mind is the foundation and then the psychical body can follow. I have traveled to the mountains in Korea and stumbled upon Buddhist temples. I have climbed the mountains in Petra and found hidden caves. I have climbed into the clouds many times and have found more peace then I’ve ever felt before. I am a mountain man, who needs calming nature in order to elevate higher. 🙏🏽🔥

I’ve learnt these lessons through experience. Not listening to my guy feeling and allowing myself to consume darkness/negativity/hate. In doing so you end up attracting more of the same vibes, while also spreading to others the same vibes that you’re consuming.

Once I started to realise this lessons that was repeating itself to me for many years. I started to be ruthless, ruthless in the control of my surroundings and the vibes I consumed. One topic many people miss in this subject is your cleanliness and tidiness. This isn’t just in regards to your room/home but also your attire and personal hygiene. It’s important to exercise, to keep yourself maintained and to keep your home clean. These things have a big impact on how you feel internally.

If life was easy we wouldn’t know how to appreciate it properly. Without the feeling of hardship, we couldn’t possibly feel success. Both go hand in hand. A lesson will repeat itself until you’ve learnt what you need to and adapted to remove or add what is necessary to move forward. 👊🏽

I have learnt from every mistake, even if it’s taken me a while to realise the same cycle repeating. In trading this happens more often then most other professions. We lose trades and continue to lose mainly due to our psychology. We make the same mistakes time and time again even when we know the answer. Until we step back and evaluate ourselves and our actions, we cannot progress to new heights. This is why after a string of losses, I will always step back and evaluate the reason why. Is it placing too many trades, is it trying to chase the market, is it the fear of missing out? The possibilities are endless both in what the cause could be but also what the solution may be. It’s up to us to make that effort in order to iron out those wrinkles in our trading plan and to move forward a stronger and more profitable trader. Keep pushing, always 💙
