As a result IPTA was formally founded in order to maximize the use of technology in physiotherapy education and to make these top-quality educational / training programs available to all physiotherapists internationally. Dr. Alqahtani is an academic, clinician, researcher, and professional leader with expertise in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy, cardiac rehabilitation, health professions education, and rehabilitation sciences. 🎓

He currently serves as President of the Saudi Physical Therapy Association and contributes to national rehabilitation development through his role in the Saudi Health Council. 🇸🇦

Call for Nominations | IDNB Expert Advisory Council (EAC)

The International Board of Dry Needling (IDNB) invites qualified professionals worldwide to apply for membership in its newly established Expert Advisory Council (EAC) — a scientific and professional reference supporting IDNB standards, accreditation, education, safety, and evidence-based Dry Needling practice.

Key Eligibility:

Licensed/registered physiotherapist or eligible regulated professional.
Postgraduate qualification, preferably Master’s or higher.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
Minimum 5 years of Dry Needling experience with advanced training.
Relevant expertise in clinical practice, education, research, accreditation, or professional standards.

IPTA Adopts its Formal Heraldic Crest

The International Physical Therapy Academy (IPTA) is pleased to announce the official adoption of its new Formal Heraldic Crest as a ceremonial institutional mark reflecting IPTA’s academic identity, clinical values, and international mission. 🌐

Inspired by formal heraldic design, the crest represents academic scholarship, clinical care, human movement, rehabilitation, professional standards, and global collaboration. It also carries IPTA’s institutional motto:

Scientia • Motus • Cura
Science • Movement • Care

The Formal Heraldic Crest will be used for selected official and ceremonial purposes, including certificates, formal documents, institutional decisions, agreements, and high-level academic communications.

The current circular IPTA emblem will continue to be used for digital platforms, media content, daily communication, and general branding.

This step reflects IPTA’s commitment to academic professionalism, institutional identity, and the advancement of physiotherapy education worldwide. 🎓🤝
