Once an Olympian, always an Olympian 💫 Whilst disappointed not to make the final this evening, I’m happy with what I’ve achieved: competed in the fastest 1500m semi final in Olympic history, a new PB under my belt & then backing it up today. There’s some incredibly quick times being run at the moment which makes it harder to put into perspective your own performance but I’m encouraged by my progress in a short space of time and excited for what’s to come with some more consistency. Wishing Laura Muir the best of luck in the final and here’s hoping I’ll be joining her in one at the next opportunity🤞🇬🇧

Meet Coach Katie:
Katie has been an international middle-distance athlete for over 10 years. She has competed for Great Britain from junior to senior level and recently became an Olympian. She competed in the 1500m in Tokyo reaching the semi-finals. She has also previously run at the Commonwealth Games and European Championships.
Having been a member of British Athletics World Class Programme and qualified personal trainer, she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of running and general well-being. She has helped others to achieve their goals alongside her own training and wants to use her expertise to continue to do this. She recently did a successful couch to 5km programme with beginner runners, as well as helping more regular runners improve their personal bests.
Katie takes great pride in developing strong relationships and emphasizes a combination of consistency and enjoyment to deliver lasting results. It is this unique blend that she believes helps people realize their maximum potential.
When not running, Katie loves travelling, watching sport and spending time with friends.
