💫 Debbie’s journey began with a deep passion for travel, leading her to study Travel and Tourism and take part in international placements that shaped her understanding of customer service, guest experience, and the power of connection. From organizing festivals and conferences to working across hotels, restaurants, theatres, and higher education institutions, her career reflects versatility, creativity, and a true love for people and experiences.
🌍 Now a university lecturer at UWTSD in International Travel and Tourism Management, Debbie has come full circle, teaching the very subject that first inspired her path. Alongside her academic role, she is completing her MBA in International Hotel Management, holds an HEA Fellowship, and is an Ambassador for Meet In Wales, advocating for greater opportunities within Swansea’s conferencing and events landscape.
