Rabeeka Al Alla

It has taken time to adjust, not in my own practice, but in the changes from others. I had to find something that truly aligns with my values, my interests, and the way I want to live my life. That has meant relearning, unlearning, and restructuring my life by my own choices and the guidance I have been given.

Has it been isolating? Yes.

Have there been family challenges? Yes.

Have some relationships broken down? Yes.

But the most important thing for me is living with a true sense of purpose. I have found something I genuinely believe in, something I connect with spiritually.

I did not revert for anyone else. I reverted for myself.

Not as a Christian or Roman Catholic, but as a revert Muslim — standing proud in a faith that I understand and connect with.

Tawakkul: learning to trust and remain calm takes mastery and discipline. As a revert, I’ve found that Islam is where I feel most connected, where I grow authentically, and where peace has finally settled in my heart. 🤍🌸
