Year 2 have done our first experiment of the year! Our investigation questions was - Which material makes the bounciest ball? After dropping paper balls, plastic balls, tin toil balls, rubber balls and glass balls, we found out that rubber is the bounciest material.

Thank you to everyone who supported our events for Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday. With our 'break with a cake' event, parent coffee morning and staff cake sale, we raised £166.21!

If your child is born between 01/09/2022 and 31/08/2023, they are due to start Reception in September 2026 and you will need to apply for a primary school place.

The deadline for applications is 15th January 2027.

We are holding Reception open mornings and evenings on the dates and times below:

Thursday 1st October @ 9.15am
Monday 9th November @ 4.30pm
Wednesday 2nd December @ 9.15am

A reminder that tomorrow is our 'Break with a cake' event for Macmillan Cancer Support. Cakes will be available for 50p for Year 1 - 6 at playtime and then for nursery and Reception at the end of their session/day.

Over the week, Star Class have been working on making 'a friend,' by constructing a friend out of junk modelling with one of their classmates. There has been some great teamwork and creative ideas!
