Dear Friends,
One of the fundamental factors behind nations achieving civilisation, prosperity, and social progress is the active and responsible participation of individuals in education, rather than relying entirely on government institutions to provide educational opportunities.
Unfortunately, in our country, there has traditionally been a high level of expectation from governments and authorities to provide education, while direct and voluntary community participation in this area has remained limited. The challenges and instability of the past four decades, and particularly the restrictions imposed in recent years, have severely limited access to education and opportunities for growth and development for children and young people, especially girls.
If this situation continues, we may face a future in which a significant proportion of our young generation lacks adequate access to education and literacy. In such circumstances, relying solely on the authorities to bring about fundamental and positive change cannot, by itself, be an effective solution. Therefore, we believe that informed, voluntary, and responsible participation by members of society, using their own resources and abilities, can make a meaningful and positive difference.
In this spirit, one of the kind-hearted families associated with the Farsi Action Foundation, whose family has a long-standing tradition of contributing to education, has established educational classes for children and young people both girls and boys in a remote area of Parwan Province, in coordination and cooperation with the FAF.
The family is covering all the costs of these classes from its own personal resources. At present, 45 students are actively and regularly attending the classes, where they are studying Persian language and mathematics.
The Farsi Action Foundation sincerely appreciates this generous family for their valuable contribution and considers their initiative an excellent example of social responsibility and investment in the future of our younger generations.
We hope that other families and individuals with the ability to contribute will be inspired by this initiative and, according to their means, take steps to establish and support educational classes in underserved and remote areas of the country. By doing so, they can play their part in educating and empowering future generations.
Through the expansion of such community led and responsible initiatives, we can help create better educational opportunities, support the intellectual and academic development of the next generation, and ultimately contribute to meaningful progress, prosperity, and a better future for our society and people.
Education is an investment in today and a hope for tomorrow.
