Our ESOL Hackney learners made their voices heard. 💚

Together with Citizens UK Hackney, our learners visited Hackney's new mayor, Zoë Garbett, to welcome her into office and talk about what matters to their community.

Mayor Garbett reaffirmed her commitment to work with us to improve ESOL access in Hackney, a vital step for the many adults in the borough who need English language support to find work, connect with their community, and move forward in their lives.

Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating 🌙✨

Our Level 3 EPQ students recently presented their independent research projects to professional mentors from UBS, as part of their final Extended Project Qualification assessment.

The topics covered aircraft safety engineering, the evolution of flight simulation technology, and more, all independently researched, designed and delivered by the students themselves.

Each student shared their findings, explained their research process and decision-making, and responded to questions and feedback from professionals in a real boardroom setting.

The skills these students are building go far beyond any qualification - confidence, public speaking, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. These are the kind of skills that open doors.

We're grateful to UBS for the continued partnership and to the mentors for their time and support. This is what meaningful industry partnership looks like in practice.
