The Pankaj Award to End Conflict has always been about recognising those who choose dialogue over division and action over indifference.

At this year’s One Young World Summit in South Africa, I will have the privilege of presenting the award and celebrating the young leaders and changemakers who are working to resolve conflict, strengthen communities and build a more peaceful future.

For me, this is about more than presenting an award. It is about recognising the courage of people who are prepared to step forward, bring people together and create meaningful change.

Young leaders have an extraordinary ability to shape what comes next. We must continue to give them the platforms, opportunities and support to turn their ideas into lasting impact.

I look forward to celebrating this year’s recipient and the inspiring One Young World community in South Africa. 🌍

A proud milestone for Regent in the United States.

The America 250 Legacy Awards in Washington, D.C. marks an important moment in Regent’s journey and reflects what can be achieved through a shared vision, a committed team and a long-term belief in the power of education and innovation.

Our relationship with the CEO Clubs Network began through connections made in Dubai and has continued to create opportunities internationally. Seeing that relationship now bring Regent to Washington is a reminder that meaningful partnerships, nurtured over time, can open doors across the world.

Thank you to Mehedi Alam, Managing Director, who represented Regent and received the recognition on our behalf. His work in developing this relationship is a great example of the contribution individuals across our team make to Regent’s wider mission.

This recognition belongs to the people behind Regent and to everyone working towards our shared ambition for growth and global impact.

The award is an important milestone, but the real measure of success will be what we build from it: new relationships, new partnerships and new opportunities to take Regent’s work in education and innovation further.

A Level Results Day is an important milestone, but no single result defines the journey ahead.

To every student receiving their results today, congratulations on the hard work, discipline and determination that have brought you to this point.

Education is about more than grades. It is about developing the knowledge, confidence and character to make the most of the opportunities ahead.

Whatever your results today, keep learning, keep growing and keep looking forward.

Wishing every student success in the next chapter.

Education connects people.

The most meaningful partnerships don't begin with agreements—they begin with conversations.

I've always believed that when people come together with a shared purpose, education becomes a bridge between ideas, cultures and communities. Those conversations are where lasting impact begins.

Every discussion is an opportunity to learn, to challenge our thinking, and to create something that benefits the next generation.

Every conversation is an opportunity to inspire the future.

Our time at Park Hyatt Chennai was a reminder that education is about far more than qualifications—it is about helping people discover their potential and the opportunities that lie ahead.

Meeting prospective students and their families, listening to their aspirations and sharing conversations about higher education reinforced my belief that the greatest impact we can have is through guidance, encouragement and meaningful connection.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such an engaging event. I look forward to seeing the journeys that begin from conversations like these.

Tharshiny is taking on The Big Half — a 13.1-mile closed-road race through London, starting at Tower Bridge and finishing at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich.

I couldn't be prouder. It's a powerful community event that brings people of all backgrounds together, celebrating the diversity of London while raising vital funds for important causes.

She's running in support of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Charity, which funds life-changing treatment, research, and care for people with complex orthopaedic conditions.

Every mile she runs is for those who rely on this work. If you're able to support her, any amount will make a real difference.

Every university partnership we build is a bet on students we haven't met yet.

Tharshiny and I spent time at Loyola College in India this week, exploring how Regent Global can deepen the kind of collaboration that gives students real pathways — not just credentials, but genuine access to opportunity on a global scale.

This is the long game: building relationships between institutions that outlast any single cohort, any single agreement. That's how a connected global education network actually gets built — one partnership, one conversation at a time.

It was a pleasure to meet so many prospective students, parents, graduates, and professionals at our Regent Global Information Session at Park Hyatt Chennai.

Conversations like these are why we do this work. Sitting with families as they think through undergraduate, postgraduate, professional, and international study options — helping them find the right pathway rather than just the next one — is at the heart of what Regent Global is building.

Thank you to everyone who came and made the evening a meaningful one. We look forward to many more of these conversations as we continue across India.

Last week’s Regent College London Summer Graduation was a proud reminder of why we do what we do.

Seeing our graduates celebrate the culmination of their hard work, resilience and determination was inspiring. Every graduation represents not just academic success, but the confidence and character to make a meaningful contribution to society.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026, and thank you to our staff, families and supporters who helped make the day so special.

For me, education has always been about far more than academic achievement.

Throughout my career, I've believed that the greatest measure of education is the character it helps to build. Confidence, resilience, integrity and a willingness to serve others are qualities that shape strong leaders and stronger communities.

That is why I continue to support The Duke of Edinburgh's Award. It gives young people opportunities to challenge themselves, discover their potential and develop skills that will stay with them for life—both inside and outside the classroom.

Every young person deserves the chance to grow through experience, not just examination.

If this is something you believe in too, I encourage you to support the incredible work of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
