Powder or oil?
What is recommended to use?

A huge debate across the internet that goes on for years.

I use both depending on my customer skin type.

Pre waxing oil it amazing for sensitive skin, works like a barrier between the wax and the skin.
Downside with pre waxing oil is that you will only need to use a small amount, if you use too much wax won't stick on the hairs. Also if a customer sweat excessively ( mainly because they are scare of the pain) or perhaps the tratament room is too hot then good luck with that.

At the stage Mrs. Power jumps in and save the situation because keep the skin dry. Again, this should be apply in a tick layer.

When you chose a power please make sure is talcum free or an alternative for power is cornstarch.

Power or oil, both work with strip or hot wax, including sugaring.

Are you scared of competition? What are your thoughts if next door someone open a salon that offers the same treatments like you ?

I am fine with that, on this wonderful planet are enough customers for all of us.

I actually have a competitor that is keep following me everywhere: MYSELF!
I always compete with myself, and challenge myslef every day. If today I am doing well, can I do better tomorrow.

Is good to know who you have around but don't waste to much time and energy on keep an eye on competititors.
Perhaps they are a lot more ahead than you because they start years before you did.

Try to be unique, try to be yourself when you are with your customers, let your personality to have a finger print on your brand, 100% that won't have competition and will filter the right customers.
