After spotting the signs that autumn is on its way, we've been singing a song all about autumn leaves today.

Is your little one:

We have an important part to play in our children's language development. Right from the start, our interactions with them can make all the difference and provide the motivation for babies to continue to learn and reach out to connect with others through language.

We've been out and about today, spotting the signs and signals that summer is coming to an end and autumn is on its way.

We noticed that some of the leaves were just beginning to change colour, so we took the opportunity to use some descriptive words to talk about them, such as 'golden' and 'copper'.
