Job Description:

We are seeking motivated and experienced individuals to join our Apprenticeship Programme for the delivery of Residential Care (Children, Young People and Families) apprenticeship standards (delivering up to Level 5).

Key Responsibilities:

πŸ”Ή Manage a caseload of learners in Residential Care (Children, Young People and Families) Apprenticeship programmes (up to Level 5), providing training, mentoring, and timely assessments.

πŸ”Ή Deliver all elements of the apprenticeship programme, including inductions, ILPs, delivery plans, observations, feedback, OTJT and more.

πŸ”Ή Maintain accurate learner records, assessments, and training plans using an electronic e-portfolio.

πŸ”Ή Build and sustain strong relationships with both employers and learners.

πŸ”Ή Efficiently manage your schedule for timely learner assessments and reviews.

πŸ”Ή Provide personalised guidance, motivation, and support, adapting to each learner's needs.

πŸ”Ή Conduct a blend of remote and face-to-face learning sessions.

πŸ”Ή Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, meeting Assessor KPIs.

πŸ”Ή Prepare apprentices for gateway and end-point assessments.

Skills & Qualifications:

πŸ”Ή Extensive experience in Residential Care vocation with a strong understanding of Professional Standards for Residential Care Apprenticeships.

πŸ”Ή Qualified with TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33, or equivalent; Level 5 in Residential Care & Management preferred.

πŸ”Ή Proven track record in delivering and assessing qualifications, including Residential Care Diploma and apprenticeships, with a solid grasp of apprenticeship standards.

πŸ”Ή Occupational competence in Residential Care Management with qualification up to Level 5.

πŸ”Ή Familiar with the Ofsted framework, electronic portfolios and Microsoft Office.

πŸ”Ή Teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent).

πŸ”Ή Strong organisational skills, time management, and ability to meet deadlines and adapt to learner needs.

πŸ”Ή GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent) and current CPD in the sector.
