Maritime Minis is a new purpose built nursery that opened in January 2020, providing excellent childcare for children from 0-5 years.

There are large bright and airy rooms for each age range, with direct access to beautiful bespoke gardens.

Regila what an incredible journey she has been on. Regila’s support, kindness, and commitment to her team and the families around her have not gone unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for everything she does. Watching her confidence grow has been inspiring. When we look back to when Regila first started, the difference is remarkable. She have become such a confident and capable individual, and we are so proud of all that she has accomplished. ✨

⭐Room of the Month ⭐

This month, Tots are truly deserving of Room of the Month for their outstanding teamwork, dedication and resilience during a period of significant change. Despite shifts within the team, they have consistently worked together to ensure the children continue to receive the care, support and experiences they deserve.

Their preparation for graduation was exceptional — they went above and beyond to create a beautiful, meaningful final chapter for the children and their families. A special mention goes to Carol, whose commitment, support and steady leadership have been invaluable.

Tiddlers have been busy making colourful marks on their mirrored tuff tray today, exploring paint, movement and reflection all at once. The mirror surface encouraged them to notice the lines, dots and strokes they were creating!

Tots had a brilliant time balloon painting today. They dipped their balloons into colourful paint and bounced them onto paper, watching vibrant patterns appear with each tap. Lots of movement, creativity and joyful experimentation filled the room.

Tinies had a lovely afternoon exploring the Monkey Puzzle story bag, excitedly spotting each animal in the book and matching them to the toys. A simple, hands‑on story adventure full of curiosity and joy.

🌊 Under‑the‑sea adventures in Teenies today!

Our Teenies loved diving into a sensory ocean made from soft sand and blue shaving foam. They dug and scooped with the sand tools, moved boats across the ‘water’ and helped the sea animals swim through the waves.

We added plenty of singing to bring the ocean to life — favourites like Row, Row, Row Your Boat and Baby Shark had everyone joining in and smiling.

Today our Tots set off on a dinosaur hunt, searching for buried prehistoric treasures hidden around the room. Once every dino was discovered, the children explored their shapes and textures through painted prints, creating bright, colourful artwork. We finished with crayon tracing using dinosaur stencils

Today our Teenies investigated coloured rice, practising scooping, sprinkling and gentle patting to build fine motor control. Each day Teenies are focusing on different animals - today was a cat!

🌊✨ Tots Sensory Sand Play ✨🌊

Today our Tots had so much fun exploring water and sand, discovering how the texture changes as they mixed the two together. They loved feeling it with their hands and feet, noticing it become softer, squishier and easier to mould.
