Tis the season to be merry, embrace the chaos and / or spend a week on the sofa in your pants eating mince pies.
Tis not the season to worry about things that are out of your control, compare yourself to others, or beat yourself up for not being ‘good enough’ at an already exhausting time of year. This silliest szn makes the most of us go bananas 🍌
I wrote this for last year, and now more so than ever, it rings true. To all my single girls (and boys!) this one’s for you 💘
Let’s end the year on a high, give yourself some grace and space, and finally learn how to find happiness alone at Christmas. Once you’ve mastered that, the festive period can be an absolute joy, here’s how:

I've been working with Branston Pickle to help raise awareness around the fact that the concept of taking a lunch break is quickly becoming a thing of the past, with workers struggling to switch off and productivity decreasing. The lines between home/work/life became so blurred over Covid, that it makes complete sense. Here are some tips on how to reclaim your time!

"You've given me the motivation to strive for change" 🥺 This one really got me 💔
When I started working with this client, he was stuck in a career that was making him miserable, incredibly frustrated by the pressure he put on himself (& from those around him) and so very far from happy. He was trapped in all the 'stuff' we get trapped in - and couldn't see a way out.
We worked through his core values, his goals, his frustrations and his struggles. We talked through his relationship with himself and others, things that were working for him and things that weren't.
It was a process - but WE GOT THERE! Fast-forward 8 months and he has LEFT HIS JOB. It's hard to explain what an enormous milestone that was for him (and me) last year, or why it seemed like the biggest most impossible hurdle. Proud doesn't cut out.
It's change like this that makes me get out of bed in the morning - especially on those slow, flat, hard days.
Keep plodding along y'all. It gets better . There's always a way through. There's always a new perspective or a shift in your mindset to get you through.
I hope this helps anyone else feeling flat, stuck and hopeless. Talk to someone, anyone. Dont suffer in silence.

LOUD & CLEAR. Our ‘diet’ is so much more than we give it credit for - the media we consume, people we surround ourselves with, the amount of time we spend on our phones, TV we watch etc. You can’t be healthy with an unhealthy mind.
If you consume s**t, you will feel s**t.

VERY happy to be returning to work today. Routine. Semblance of normality. To-do lists. Pink kitchen. Structure. Working with clients and generally getting sh*t done. Starting January off strong with a feature in 🤩 plenty more to come 📝🤟🏼hope y’all have a productive first day ❤️

What is it about the New Year that makes us panic into thinking we need to become a happier, thinner, more adventurous, more accomplished, ‘better’ version of ourselves? It’s a juicy cocktail of feeling unfulfilled, pressure to conform, comparisons to others and quite frankly - boredom. Not the fun kind of cocktail 🍸

‘being single is not a death sentence’ - you heard it here first, or in if you’ve picked up your copy this week. Will be clutching to my chest for the foreseeable.
Top tips: Take yourself on nice dates. Don’t settle down with your fourth best swipe. There is more to you than your relationship status, yes, even over the New Year.
