A massive congratulations to all of our dancers who represented Scoil Rince Céim Óir over the weekend. We came away with some fantastic results, lots of personal best performances and, most importantly, dancers who walked off the stage knowing they had given everything✨

A huge thank you to all of our parents. From the early starts and late finishes to the travelling, wigs, dresses and everything in between, your support is incredible. Thank you for always believing in your children and for being such a huge part of our studio😍

And just to make the weekend even more memorable… after 75 years, Mayo finally brought Sam Maguire home! 💚❤️ A huge thank you to Jack Whitworth (JMW) for letting us commandeer his stall so we could plug in the iPad and watch the match from the back of the hall. The excitement when the final whistle went was something very special!

Now it’s time for a well-earned rest! Recharge the batteries and make the most of the break. Then it’s back to work! I’ll see you at our Summer Camp as we start preparing for the new season, with September and the first feiseanna just around the corner.

YOUTH ACTION ALLIANCE
DANCE ENERGY 2026

What a privilege it was for our dancers to be invited as Special Guest Performers at the Youth Action Alliance’s Dance Energy 2026, held at the beautiful Cadogan Hall in Sloane Square on what turned out to be a very hot Friday evening last week.

We were absolutely delighted to showcase Irish dancing and, most importantly, inspire so many talented young dancers from a wide range of backgrounds through the power of dance.

My sincere thanks to Ros Scanlon and everyone at the Irish Cultural Centre for making this wonderful connection, and to Tania Moore, Piers Thompson and the entire Youth Action Alliance team for their incredible welcome, organisation and hospitality. It was an honour to be part of such a positive event celebrating young people, diversity and community through dance✨

We had a wonderful evening and even managed to catch some of the NANS on FeisTV while we were waiting to go on stage!
