Half term is over and we're back at work!
Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, at lunchtime for a delectable selection of songs, arias and duets presented by the students of the opera school.
We are dedicating this concert to the memory of our dear student George Coates who recently died of a brain tumour. George was a wonderful man and singer and will be missed greatly.
If you're free come along - no booking required - and you'll get a flavour of what's in store for our last show of the year!

On this day in 1934, Gustav Holst died in London, at the age of 59, of heart failure following an operation on his ulcer. He was one of RVWâs most trusted friends. They constantly shared their latest compositions, and each man trusted the otherâs opinion, even when critical. Holst did not have RVWâs privileged background, nor financial independence, and in his younger years supported himself by working as a jobbing musician (trombone) in theatre orchestras around the country. He was also a fine teacher, and worked at Morley College from 1907 until 1924.
