Thanos Mengrelis, is a Secondary school tutor with extended knowledge in the field of Secondary Education and Pedagogy in English and Maths. He is a competent organiser and conductor of curricula, differentiated and individualized concepts that promote independence and are tailored to individuals' needs. Thanos has also authored, co-authored, and published articles in the field of disability, education, social and educational psychology and behaviour analysis. Thanos has acquired the QTS and he is an authorised UK national curriculum teacher. He has been at several English secondary schools and colleges since 2011 and he has been a part of the leader board in various educational settings. He has been teaching a variety of different subjects such as English, Mathematics and Science to English native speakers. Thanos has acquired his professional and educational skillset through hard work, dedication and persistence as he has needed to work to support himself and study at the same time. He acquired his TEFL diploma from the International TEFL Academy in Chicago, IL with a speciality in English for Business. Likewise, he attended several Business courses provided by the University of Maryland (English for Finance, Legal English, Interviewing and Resume Writing in English Specialization). He completed his BA in education studies at UCL. Furthermore, he continued with a MA degree in Social Psychology and he developed his knowledge regarding human behaviour by commencing his second Master’s (Msc) degree in Behaviour Analysis. His thirst for knowledge coupled with his drive to make a difference to those he comes into contact with has been the overriding factor that has driven him into making life-changing decisions. He has recently commenced his PhD degree in the field of Precision Teaching and educational Data Analysis.
