Calling all Digby Stuart Alumni, you're invited to this years DSA DAY on the 20th of June.

Our alumni gathering is a special opportunity to reconnect with old friends, hear about the exciting developments taking place across the University, and remember the many individuals who have shaped Digby Stuart College over the years.

This year’s Alumni Day is open to all former staff and students of Digby Stuart College. We are especially delighted to welcome our jubilee groups, who left in: 1946, 1956, 1966, 1976, 1986, 1996, 2006, and 2016.

We look forward to celebrating your connection to the College and sharing a memorable day together.

WHAT'S ON THIS WEEK 🦁

Hey Digby! It's the final week of term and there's so much happening so let's get into it:

Today we have Drop In with the College Team in the Base from 1pm, and then our Chaplains will be leading the Stations of the Cross for our Catholic community on campus. Then later at 4pm it's time for a huge party with with a massive celebration of Holi from .desi.society! 🎆

Tomorrow, are running another Interfaith Iftar as part of Ramadan celebrations. All are welcome regardless of Muslim or non-Muslim faith, and sign up is essential so hit the link in the chaplaincy page bio 👍

Also on Tuesday, have got their Wild Night at ! Join them for a wild bat walk and quiz with prizes and good times guaranteed 🦇💚

On Wednesday will be holding their Spring Market outside the Hive with loads of goodies available, and in the evening there are still spaces at the table for our College Informal Meal hosted by our very own Head of College, Prof Marilyn Holness! 🦁

Finally, on Thursday will be holding a moment of reflection for Holy Thursday in the Christian tradition, and then this week Creativity Corner in the Base will be all things sparkly with some jewellery making! Free to all, come and check it out! 📿💎

WHAT'S ON THIS WEEK 🦁

Good morning Digby! Here's what's happening this week in College:

First up, in addition to their usual worship and creative activities, this week are celebrating the Jewish festival of Purim on Tuesday with a talk from Rabbi Gavin Broder, open to all who would like to take part.

PLUS, throughout the week there will be a series of Iftari meals open to Muslim and non-Muslim students and staff to join - check the link in their bio and the NEST for sign up and more details! 👍

Then on Thursday 21st there is an ✨incredible✨ opportunity to take part in the inaugural UoR Empowering Women in Entrepreneurship Conference in Elm Grove. This is open to all students and will feature talks, Q&As, networking opportunities, and panels all aiming to empower women and encourage them to take their entrepreneurship forward. ♀️💪

WHAT'S ON THIS WEEK 🦁

This week we're doing all things community with our College Informal and a big DIGBY DIG out in the garden! 🌻

The Digby Dig on Friday is part of our 150 Hours Volunteering Project and is a great way to get outdoors and feel good while doing good, helping to look after our green spaces on College. All you need is some comfy clothes, sturdy shoes and lots of enthusiasm - swipe for more info and all the dates! 💪

We've also got our next College Informal on Thursday in Barat House! If you need a break from studying or could do with some company , why not come along for some home-cooked food and great conversations with new friends. Sign up is via the link in our bio! ⬆️

Hey everyone! Loads to get involved with this week! 😍

Today we've got Drop-In in the Base as usual, and then we'll be heading to Fincham with to open our brand new prayer rooms! Do feel free to join for a warm welcome and refreshments, and to pray if you so wish. 😊

Then are taking over the David Bell cinema tonight for a screening of Red, White and Royal Blue! 6pm, open to all!

We've had a lovely Monday welcoming our brand new Nursing students to College! Hope you're all having a great start to the week too 💙
