** Are you in Year 11 and not planning to go to university? Do you know a young person in Year 11 who isn't planning to go to university? We would love to hear from you! We are carrying out short online interviews with young people in Year 11 in England to get their views on their experiences of education and careers support and to learn more about the opportunities available to young people who choose to not pursue university. **

On the 13th April, we will also be officially launching the Young Lives Young Futures project with an online launch event. This event is free, open to everyone and will be led by a panel of young people. The event will be centred around the theme of the impact of the pandemic on young people's lives and how they would like education to change in England.

On the 25th of March, we will be hosting our annual Youth Advisory Group. If you are aged between 16 and 21, currently live in England and are not planning to go to university, we would love for you to take part!

Taking part will involve joining young people from across England to reflect on the impact of the pandemic on your age group and to help shape the next stages of the YLYF study. In the afternoon, you will have the chance to share your views on how you think education, employers and the government should be supporting young people with policymakers, researchers and organisations who work with young people.

As a thank you for contributing and taking part, you will be given a £10 voucher.

Welcome to the page of the Young Lives, Young Futures research project! The study is being conducted by a team of researchers at King's College London and The Edge Foundation and is exploring the journeys young people take from school into further education or work across England. We are especially interested in the experiences of young people who don't go to university. Keep your eyes peeled for project updates and how to get involved!
