A fun Autumn activity, we collected leaves on our walk and then stuck them to frames to create beautiful autumnal pictures! This activity encouraged lots of conversation about the seasons and how we can see the change to autumn by looking at all the different colours in the leaves! 🍂

Enjoying free play in the garden! Although we often enjoy structured play with activities, free play is just as important in children's development. Free play encourages problem solving, creativity and decision making, whilst also development skills such as independence and emotional regulation!

An activity from the summer that the children focussed for ages, they enjoyed smelling the flowers and talking about the different colours / shapes of the petals. They then found a hole to thread the stems through, to make a bouquet 🌷

Teddy bear picnic! Today we enjoyed a picnic in the shade, we read the teddy bear picnic book and then did a sticking activity indoors

Our new water wall for the garden! The children enjoyed pouring the water into the tubes and watching it pour onto the patio. This activity helped with our colour sorting, as the children picked out a colour jug and matched it to the correct coloured tube, as well as developing those motor skills!
