Reading with your children is so important. It creates more able writers and increases vocabulary.
Top Tips 📖
Hear them read daily.
Let them hear you reading.
Always ask them to choose a book about something they are interested in. It could be dinosaurs, football, dancing, swimming, cheer leading or anything that excites them.
Ask them to read when you are out and about. Names of shops, roads, labels on food. Absolutely anything. And most of all have fun. 😄

Ask your children to choose a book about something they really love. It could be anything. Dinosaurs, football, tennis, cheer leading.
The most important thing is that children are enthusiastic about what they are reading. It can be a poem, fiction, non-fiction, comics or even a newspaper article.
Take time each day to listen to them and also let them hear you reading.
This will give them a passion for reading and increases their ability when it comes to writing as well.
