So, what struck a nerve with me in the book is the way the authors shine a light on the disastrous consequences of trying to keep up with others. You know, that whole "keeping up with the Joneses" thing? Yeah, it's a real trap.

In a world obsessed with showing off our fancy possessions and looking successful, we often forget about the actual cost. Spoiler alert: it can leave us drowning in debt and stress. But here's the kicker: true wealth isn't about impressing others; it's about building financial security and living a fulfilling life.

When my day went from ugh to woohoo!

I was dealing with this boring admin issue with my bank, and honestly, it felt like a never-ending loop. Phone call after phone call, chat after chat, I was getting more and more annoyed.

But here's the cool part: After all the back-and-forth, something unexpected happened. They finally fixed the issue, and guess what? The bank went above and beyond by offering me £50 as a gesture of goodwill, just because I spoke up and expressed my frustration. Talk about a win!

I didn't see that coming, but hey, I happily accepted it! And it got me thinking...sometimes, you gotta ask to receive. It's about standing up for yourself and letting them know who's the boss!

Think about it. How many times have we settled for less because we didn't speak up? How many missed opportunities just slipped away because we didn't raise our voice? Well, it's time to break free from that cycle and own our worth!

You've probably heard it a thousand times: "No snoozing! Jump out of bed!" Well, I beg to differ. I completely disagree. Wanna know why? Because snoozing has become my morning secret sauce, helping me glide from dreamland to reality.

No matter if it's 5 am, 11 am, or even 3 pm, my body just won't launch into action when the alarm screams. It craves a gentle nudge to fully wake up. And guess what? Science has got our back on this!

Did you know there's a magical in-between phase called "sleep inertia"? It's like a fuzzy state where we're not fully awake yet. The length of this phase varies for everyone, anywhere from a few mins to a whole hour, depending on different factors.

So, why be so hard on ourselves and fight against biology? I've found a better way – a snoozing strategy. I set my alarm 15 mins earlier than needed. This grants me blissful moments in bed, easing into the day at my own pace.

Trust me, this snoozing ritual has changed my mornings. It's the difference between rushing and starting on the wrong foot OR relishing a calm, enjoyable beginning. Those precious moments give me clarity to embrace what lies ahead.
