Part 2 🌸 After our fun at the splash park, we enjoyed a peaceful walk through our local flower gardens, exploring the beautiful flowers and chatting about the colours we spotted. 🌼

We then had lunch under the shade of a tree before ending our morning by singing some of our favourite nursery rhymes together. 🎶🌳

☀️💦 Splash park adventures! 🌈

Today at Mimi’s Montessori, we swapped the classroom for the great outdoors as our little explorers enjoyed a fun-filled trip to our local splash park! From giggles under the sprinklers to making wonderful memories with friends, it was the perfect way to stay cool while building confidence, friendships, and a love for outdoor play.

We believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, and today was full of laughter, movement, and joyful discovery. 💙

🚂🦆🍦 A lovely day at Swanley Park!

Today, we joined our church playgroup and our friends for a fun-filled adventure. The children enjoyed a ride on the little hopper train, played in the park, fed the ducks, and finished the day with ice cream before heading home.

Simple moments, happy children, and lots of memories made. ☀️💛

Our Montis immersed themselves in a world of play and learning, enjoying sensory tough trays, searching for bugs, splashing in water play, digging in the sand, bringing dinosaurs to life through imaginative play, and racing around on ride-ons.

These simple moments outdoors encourage curiosity, independence, creativity, and confidence as children learn through hands-on experiences and follow their natural interests.

There truly is no better classroom than the world around us. 🤎✨

🌸✨ A Beautiful Morning of Exploration ✨🌸

Today our Montis enjoyed a visit to the flower gardens, where we talked about, touched, smelled, and admired the beautiful flowers around us. 🌺🌼

We each took a turn making a wish at the wishing well before heading to the nearby park for some fun-filled playtime with friends. 💫🪙🛝

A wonderful morning filled with nature, learning, laughter, and friendship. ❤️

An amazing day at Jeskyns Community Woodland 🌿✨

Today we visited one of our favourite places the Gruffalo Trail! 🐻🌲 The children loved exploring the woodland, visiting the magical fairy village 🧚🏽 and enjoying time at the play park, where they had lots of fun playing in the sand.

We also enjoyed a lovely, scrumptious lunch using our new dinner trays 🍓🥪 These are perfect for offering picky bits alongside a main lunch, encouraging the children to graze, explore different foods, and try something new in a relaxed way.

Overall, we had such a lovely day filled with fresh air, adventure, play, and happy smiles 💛

Today our Montis engaged in a wonderful day of outdoor exploration at one of our favourite parks 🌿☀️

The children enjoyed lots of digging, free play, and hands-on learning using natural resources found within the environment. From collecting sticks and leaves to exploring the earth beneath them, the children were able to follow their curiosity and lead their own learning naturally.

Outdoor play supports confidence, independence, creativity, and problem-solving skills while encouraging a deeper connection with nature 🤎

World Turtle Day is celebrated on the 23rd of May, but today at Mimi’s Montessori we joined in the celebrations in our setting 🐢💚

Our Montis enjoyed reading a story about a tortoise, learning about tortoise body parts through pictures and diagrams, and meeting a real-life tortoise! We even fed it some lettuce 🥬

Today at Mimi’s Montessori, we explored scented modelling clay through sensory play 🌸☀️ 🌈

The children enjoyed discovering colours, textures, and smells while rolling, squishing, and creating freely. A perfect summer activity supporting fine motor skills, creativity, and independent learning through play 💛
