Tai Chi is movement.
It shows in how you walk and how you move through the world.
Every day you move with a weight on your leg.
Everything you do carries an extra difficulty — one you don’t actually need.
That weight is tension.
Tai Chi removes it. It rewires the body, reorganising how you move and teaching a different use of effort. The goal is not to add more strength, but to stop wasting it.
Before trying to run faster, learn to walk freely.

Learn something that you can use every day. A professor in high school said "philosophy is beautiful because it is useless" there's nothing more wrong. A philosophy is a mindset and Tai Chi is applied philosophy.
You're not pushing a person. You're rewiring the way you act and feel when interact with someone else, regardless of being a physical, verbal or mental conflict.
This is the reason why Eastern philosophies (one clear example: Sun Tzu) are used by companies to improve their performances.
Work with your ego. Don't kill it, it's part of you, those saying the opposite are just feeding it with "I'm becoming better than others" and don't feed it blindly, you'll become aggressive and eventually hurt yourself or someone you love.
Tai Chi is much more than physical practice, it is mind, body and spirit.
Everyone has their own journey, and the more you can learn on the way, the better. Explore the world and yourself. Life is just a ride in an amusement park.
Treasure every experience and nourish your heart connecting with others.

Stronger joint, improved mobility and better balance are core aspects of the martial training of Tai Chi Chuan.
The goal is to have a solid structure that moves freely without losing internal connection, therefore the body works as one unit in every exchange, using 100% of its capacity. This is moving 1000 pounds with 4 ounces.
The opponent has nothing to attack because there are no blockages in the flow of energy inside the body (thus no tensions, good for health too) and thanks to a great sensitivity it is possible to anticipate their next move and discover weak points in their structure.
