We are incredibly proud to announce that Wolfson Hillel has been judged EXCEPTIONAL in two areas, with Strong Standard across all other areas in our latest Ofsted report - this puts us in the top 0.5% of primary schools nationally.

This week, our Year 5 and 6 girls took part in the Autumn Maccabi Tournament! 🏆⚽️
All three teams made more history for the school by qualifying for the knockout stages — an incredible achievement! 👏

A huge well done to our Red Team, Blue Team and Green Team on so many fantastic matches. Your teamwork, determination and school spirit were brilliant to see.

Last week, our Year 6 boys took part in the Autumn Maccabi Football Tournament and what an incredible start to the year!

A huge congratulations to our Red Team, who were crowned tournament winners! 🏆🎉

Our Blue Team and Green Team also showed fantastic team spirit, winning games, drawing matches and scoring lots of goals along the way. 👏⚽

Year 6 put their cooking skills into practice this week by making their own paella. From preparing and chopping ingredients to following a recipe and working collaboratively, the children developed a range of practical food preparation skills while learning about this traditional Spanish dish. They approached the challenge with enthusiasm and teamwork, producing some delicious results along the way!

We were delighted to welcome Rabbi Lister, our new Honorary Principal, to our first Monday morning assembly of the year, where he blew the shofar for us.
The children enjoyed learning what makes a shofar kosher and listening to the different sounds it can make.

🌎🌳 A huge well done to our Eco-Committee for all of their hard work and dedication throughout this year! Your commitment to making our school a greener place has been fantastic. We were also delighted to recognise children from each class who have gone above and beyond in their eco efforts and were presented with a special certificate.

Year 4 had a fantastic day at Verulamium Museum, where they stepped back in time to learn all about the Romans through exciting exhibits and hands-on activities. We were also lucky to enjoy some beautiful sunshine in the park, making it the perfect end to a wonderful day of learning and fun. Our School Council did an amazing job leading assembly this morning, sharing all about their recent trip to Parliament! They gave the rest of the school an in-depth retelling of their day, explaining what they saw, learned and experienced, before answering lots of thoughtful questions from their classmates.
The children spoke confidently about everything they had learnt, including how laws are made, the different roles within Parliament and what it means to represent others. It was wonderful to see them reflecting on their experience and inspiring the rest of the school to get involved in pupil leadership.
