Our final morning at Wick Court Farm—and what a way to finish an unforgettable week! 🌾✨❤️

We started our day with delicious bacon baps and a full farmer’s breakfast for our four star farmers—Lennox, Lenny, Jessica, and Lara! 🥓🍳

Over the past week, they have truly embodied the farm values: showing incredible curiosity, building a wonderful community, engaging in brilliant conversation, and demonstrating unbelievable resilience every single day 💪🌟

For our final task of the trip, we put our teamwork to the test one last time to safely move the pregnant sheep into their new pen 🐑🌾 Walking away knowing we’ve made a genuine difference to farm life!

From sunrise feed runs to starlight hot chocolates, this has been a week of growth, friendship, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you, Wick Court Farm! 🚌🎒👋✨

Our final night at Wick Court Farm and what a truly unforgettable week it’s been! 🌾✨❤️

We spent our last afternoon soaking in every moment—taking a final farm walk to visit all our favourite spots, followed by a cozy afternoon of crafts 🚶‍♂️🎨

For tea, we tucked into a classic farm favourite: piping hot jacket potatoes loaded with cheese and beans 🥔🧀🫘

Now, we’re settling down for the night with warm mugs of hot chocolate ☕💭 To make the evening extra special, we were each given a copy of a Michael Morpurgo book to celebrate 50 years of the incredible Farms for City Children charity! 📚🌟

Thank you, Wick Court, for the endless memories, new friendships, and life lessons.

Goodnight for the final time from the farm! 🌙💤✨

A fantastic hands-on morning with the ponies at Wick Court! 🐴✨

We spent time grooming and brushing the ponies, learning all about horse care, and doing our bit by poo-picking the field before turning them out to graze 🐎🧹🌾

Next, we took a stroll down to Roundhouse for our wild lunch! It was wonderful to mix with children from the other schools, chat, and share all the fun things we’ve learned about each other so far 🤝💬

The best part? Clean plates all round—everyone absolutely loved the homemade sausage rolls we made this morning! 😋🥐🥓

Now we’re all set and excited for a long afternoon walk across the beautiful farm grounds 🚶‍♂️🌳☀️

🎃 Spooky Sensory Magic in Nursery! ✨
Our little learners have been busy diving into a creepy-crawly sensory adventure today! We transformed our messy play tray into a potion station filled with gloopy chia seed “slime” and shimmering, sparkly water.
Watch how much learning happens through hands-on play:
✨ Pouring & Topping: The children loved ladling sparkly water over the gloopy seeds, testing cause-and-effect as the textures shifted and mixed!
🤏 Pincer Grip Precision: Picking up slippery chia seeds and tiny hidden treasures from the goo was a fantastic workout for those small hand muscles and finger strength.
🧪 Early Science: Scooping, measuring, and experimenting with different tools to create their very own spooky Halloween potions.
Messy hands = happy, learning minds! 🕷️ With completely safe, non-toxic ingredients, our young potion-makers could explore, squish, and play freely.

Day four at Wick Court Farm and we are officially in full farmer rhythm! 🌾⏰✨

We kicked off the morning feeding the pigs at sunrise 🌅🐖—giving them their breakfast along with the leftover apple pulp from yesterday’s juicing 🍎🧃

We’re learning firsthand how a sustainable farm works and that nothing ever goes to waste! 🔄💚

After fueling ourselves with a delicious continental breakfast of warm croissants and homemade plum jam 🥐🍯, we took on our next big responsibility: making our very own sausage rolls from scratch for our wild lunch later! 🥐🥓🔥

From sustainable choices to hands-on kitchen skills, today is off to an incredible start! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳💪
