This year, as part of our Halloween activities we did decorate your own witches hat. The kids had lots of fund painting their hats with glitter and sticking sequins on them.
They all did an excellent job with their hats. What do you think

Meet Katya our Halloween project that the Little ones and I have been working very hard on over the last couple of weeks.
The little ones had lots of fun doing the papier mache and helping me paint her.
If you are local pop round and say hello to her and whilst you are here visit our spooky Scary Skeleton neighbours Albert and Jimima and support the wonderful cause they are raising for.

We spent the morning at the and had a wonderful time. We used the hose to put out some pretend fires. We did the elephant scavenger hunt and got a fantastic pencil sharpener each as a reward. Sat in a fire truck and on some really cool motorbikes! We then had a picnic, and then, as it was such a warm day, we had an ice cream as a treat. We can't wait for the next one. We also met a live model fireman (robot as some of the kids called him) who was tricking and scaring the visitors.

In the new year, we welcomed Khan into our setting. He is a very gentle Banana Royal Python. Since his arrival, he has been snuggled up with Freddie, our female Royal Python.
The children have been admiring them and watching them in their vivarium every opportunity they get.

Fun Facts:
1. They are called Rolay Pythons as itbis believed that many past African Rulers were known to have worn this specific species as living jewellery.
2. They are also called Ball python's because they like to carl up into a ball and hide / sleep.

Meet Frosty! Long time in the making (drying), he is made using all our recycled scrap paper.
It was a very long, messy project, but it has been so much fun. Especially once we started putting him together. -mache

We have been busy here at Nat Nat's last week prepping and having our yearly inspection around all our regular activities.
I am proud to announce that we have been graded Good for the 2nd year running despite all the challenges we have faced this year. We will continue to work on improving our setting with the aim of providing the best home from home setting for your children. Thank you for all your help and support.

We love our Spooky walks. It seems to be the only thing that gets the children out on rainy days. We went a longer route today and saw so many fantastic decorations. Although cirrently the favousite seems to be our mischievous new skeleton neighbours Albert and Jim we had to stop to see what they were up to today. Tomorrow, we will make sure to have some more change in our pockets so we can donate to the amazing charity that they are supporting.
