Why not join SweetScience foundation at their FREE health and activity day this Sunday. It’ll be full of fun activities and chance for your children and young people to try boxing and understand the health benefits of sports, gain career advice from the LONDON FIRE BRIGADE and much much more.
This is an all inclusive day. We have a couple of our students already boxing with Leroy. All info is on the poster.

A massive well done to all 5 employers that won’t our employers awards for 2024-2025

This years awards were as follows:

Employer of the Year was awarded to Naz and his team at hobbycrafthq Greenford.

Mentors of the Year was awarded to Andrew, Caroline and the team at Kevin’s Uniform Shop in Greenford.

Donator of the Year was awarded to The Team at The Bridge Hotel Greenford.

Contributor of the Year was awarded to scott_whall The Hub London

Champion Supporter of the Year was awarded to John and the team at Greener Ealing Limited

Without the help and support from you guys, our students wouldn’t have so many opportunities.

Thank you to our wonderful employers for attending today’s mentorship morning.
The students learnt about the following industries

👶 nursery manager Asafa shared her wonderful career journey working with children.

🏋️ gym manager Tobias shared his career pathway and the different jobs he’s worked in along the way. He also treated the students to a little PT session 😊

🧱 Paul Regional Sales Director shared his career journey and created a very clever interactive game for the students so they could understand his role and how every employee is just as important as the managers.

Thank you so much mentors. You all really thought outside the box and made it such a fun morning.

Ealing SEND Hub - Digital and Creative programme week 2 with 🐝(BEE).

Today we were very lucky to take part in this project and attended a bowling and Karaoke session at tenpin bowling. The students learnt who technology is linked to both activities and what happens when the technology fails.

We all had fun and the students sang and danced till there were content.

Last week our student finished his work experience placement at The Bridge Hotel
He was working in the kitchen on a Wednesday morning (for 6 weeks).

He learnt how to check the temperature of the fridge and freezer, the importance of keeping the floor clean, he assisted the chef with the breakfast trolly, helped to clean the work surfaces, washed up, used the dishwasher and many more jobs.

As you can see from the smiles on his face, he’s really enjoyed his placement.

Today at Springhallow school we hosted a mentorship day for the secondary students.
We had 5 amazing mentors:
Gary- from a drinks company🧃
Scott-from The Hub London📺
Chloe- from sheridan.lifts 🛗
Elicia, Pedro and Veronica from Hilton London Heathrow Airport 🛩️

The students were very engaged and asked some fantastic questions whilst listening to the the presentations.

Thank you to all the mentors for teaching our students about your careers, the options they all have for future careers and for the key messages at the end of your presentations.
