Who Was the First to Speak Arabic?
Historians differ on who first spoke Arabic, but what they agree on is that the person who established the rules of grammar and morphology was Abu al-Aswad al-Du'ali.

He formulated these rules after Islam spread to various parts of the world and non-Arabs converted to it.
He feared that the language might disappear and that distortion might enter the holy Quran, which is the most authentic book in the Arabic language.
Therefore, he established this science and called it Al-Nahw.

Reading and memorizing Qur’an has many virtues, and we will separate some of them for you in the “Virtues of Qur’an” series #1 ❤️

Among these virtues is the abundance of reward for reading, for every letter is rewarded for a Muslim, as a Hadeeth (prophetic statement) in At-Tirmithi proves: “Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a reward, and this reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that 'Alif, Lam, Meem' (a combination of letters frequently mentioned in the Holy Quran) is a letter, rather I am saying that ‘Alif’ is a letter, ‘Lam’ is a letter and ‘Meem’ is a letter.” [At-Tirmithi]
