Our guest vocalists is the renowned Wayne Ellington (as seen on The Voice). The evening will also be a celebration of soloists, musicians and choir directors.

We are starting off 2025 with a bang! We will be holding our second annual New Year's Gospel Celebration on Saturday 4th January 2025. This will take place at the home of The College of Gospel UK, ST MATTHEW'S CHURCH, Brixton Hill, London, SW2 1JF, commencing at 6.30pm. Doors open at 6.00pm.

The College of Gospel UK™ will be presenting a New Year's Gospel Celebration, featuring special guests and the amazing College of Gospel choirs - United Purpose and Sound Foundation - (How Sweet The Sound, European Finalists).

The College of Gospel UK™, founded by one of the country's most highly acclaimed choir directors and vocal coaches, Lascelles Haughton, will be presenting a selection of authentic Gospel Music. The last showcase was such an amazing night featuring some great singers and musicians.

There is limited seating at this venue. Once all tickets have gone, they're simply gone!!! Our last celebration was sold out pretty quickly. So be swift in purchasing your tickets, if you want to enjoy a wonderful celebration of Gospel music. All are welcome!

Who would have thought that when The College of Gospel UK ™️(TCOGUK) was launched in June 2023, that one of our college choirs, SOUND FOUNDATION, would be finalists in the first ever European How Sweet The Sound Choir Competition, hosted by Donald Lawrence, at the Royal Albert Hall, on Sunday 20th October 2024. How awesome is that?🙌🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾

I am so proud of our accomplishments to date. In ALL things, we give God thanks.

We truly and proudly hope that we represented ourselves well; plus our gospel community, the UK and most importantly, God. 🙏🏾🔥🙏🏾

This was such an iconic moment that we will always remember and be appreciative of. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our participation in this amazing event and our journey so far.

Well done to all the other choirs that shared this platform, from all across Europe. It was such an honour to have been a part of presenting this awesome art form and the everlasting message synonymous with Gospel Music.

NB: SAVE THE DATE: On Saturday 14th December, we will be holding our annual Christmas Celebration, in the Brixton area, where we will be joined by our sister choir, United Purpose, and some great guest singers and musicians. More information to follow!

Nothing to do this Saturday? Why not go to the Southbank Centre and enjoy the Sing Out The Summer Music Festival. The Universal Tier’s college choir, United Purpose, will be taking part in this singing extravaganza! Choir scheduled to perform at 5.15pm. Come and support us and others, as we sing and make a joyful noise! 🙏🏾🙌🏾🔥

Had a great time at the Bassnote Collective Christmas Show at Live at the Pizza Express, Holborn last Sunday. They truly brought in the Christmas spirit with beautiful arrangements of melodic joy! Well done guys! Keep singing and spreading the good news!!
