Took an unplanned break from social media… but came back just in time to present at in one of my favourite cities—Edinburgh!
Loved sharing how I use AI tools to personalise learning in the classroom.
Truth is: AI is here to stay. But are educators ready?
Many institutions still aren’t investing in building AI literacy for staff. Instead of trial, error, and growth—we see fear and gatekeeping.
AI won’t replace our experience or expertise. But it will replace outdated, uncreative practices.
The future will divide those who can apply AI meaningfully—and those who can’t. Which side will you be on?

Exciting New Project on the Horizon! 🌟
My teacher friends (.ishida & .crispim) and I are cooking up something special, and I can’t wait to share it with you all! 😁 While it’s still a bit too soon to reveal all the details, I want to take this moment to celebrate the power of collaboration in teaching.
Surrounding yourself with passionate, like-minded professionals who are eager to innovate and embrace new challenges is not just great for professional growth – it’s fantastic for brain health, too! Studies show that those who take risks and try new things enjoy better mental agility (Park et al., 2013). Plus, we get the joy of sharing our experiences and learning with each other.
Stay tuned! Something exciting is coming your way. 🌍😍

Great advice from . Every one feels stuck or unable to move forward at some point in their growth journey or new venture. Success comes when you understand ‘why’ you are stuck and be proactive in finding the right solution to get out. Better to be slow and steady while still moving forward📈💪🏽. Don’t give up - just change your strategy 😊.

🎨 This week has been a tough one. Extremely stressful. So, I turned to art. I am not very good - just a beginner.
But, picking up a pencil and focusing on creating something new has not only been therapeutic but also a fantastic way to escape reality for a few hours 😊. It’s amazing how learning a new skill can calm the mind, lift the mood, and rejuvenate your whole being—I feel human again! Also, it’s extremely satisfying to see the effort you put in and process you go through come into fruition 😍!
Did you know? Studies in neuroscience found that learning a new skill is not just a great way to unwind but also helps improve brain function through improved neuroplasticity!
I came across three compelling studies highlighting the benefits of learning new skills for brain function:
Park et al. (2012): This study shows that older adults who engage in challenging new activities, like digital photography, experience significant improvements in cognitive functions, more so than those participating in less demanding tasks.
Thomas H. Bak (2016): Learning new languages can build cognitive reserves, enhancing brain flexibility and delaying the onset of dementia.
N**o (2013): Specific brain training can lead to neuroplastic changes, improving particular brain functions and overall structural health.
Learning new skills isn’t just about adding to your toolkit; it’s also about enhancing your mental health and cognitive capacities.
So, what kinds of skills do you enjoy learning? Share your talents and let’s inspire each other 💡!
