At work, we have various policies and work processes to follow, but have you ever thought about what you should do and shouldn't do at work?
Having been in the real world of work for good number of years, I've experienced changes in working environments and mainly processes.
So that's why I'm here to share what I've learnt through my experience by being observant and learning from colleagues and especially from senior management.
I hope you find this valuable and treat this as a guideline when you're starting fresh into a role.
Now over to you, have you experienced this at work and if you're new into a role, would you apply some of these tips? I'd like to get a good feel of how you guys been finding it 👇

One of our clients came across our platform and what we offer in terms of career services and approached us as they felt they could benefit from our interview package.
They had a Civil Service interview for a Case Administrator role for the National Probation Service – Ministry of Justice.
In our session virtually, we went through interview techniques – how to deliver strong examples and tackling common questions which may pop up in relation to the behaviours and strengths being assessed as part of the success profile.
We’ve gone through real examples on how to answer interview questions for an Administrative Officer grade within civil service, so they are prepared for what’s to come in the actual interview.
Our client took away key pointers from the session and nailed the interview, feeling confident and hopeful they’d smash it.
They also went for another interview which they thought they did well – we gave some tips for that interview too!
This is solid proof our interview package guarantees results but your engagement and work are vital in the process.
If you have interviews coming up and would like a session with us, you can book one by sending us a DM and we will get back to you with more details.

I received a question from a student who asked how we can be effective when connecting with new members in companies to gain something valuable.
It was a great question which I thought I'd write a detailed post about.
The way you approach new members has to be personal but also professional.
In this post, I have outlined what you can do to connect with new members for a gain on both sides (you and the hiring manager for example).
Let us know how you've been connecting with new members in companies to gain something valuable. We'd love to hear your perspective on this 😃🌟

It is certainly true that top job roles require a high calibre of experiences.
In this post, we look at three top job roles and what type of experience you'll need to break into the field.
Let me run through the three top job roles here 👇
1. Lawyer - to become a great lawyer, you can acquire some experience as a legal administrator or a paralegal. You will learn how to draft legal documents and negotiate in a court case effectively through shadowing a barrister/solicitor
2. Doctor - to break through in the medical field, you'll need medical experience and experience working in a local GP practice. You will be exposed to the environment as it will be hands-on and beneficial
3. Data Scientist - to be successful in a career in data science, you need to gain coding experience. That can be acquired by completing coding challenges and projects which will help you utilise specific coding languages and data tools
Hope you found this post insightful!
Let me know in the comments below what other job roles you'd like me to cover for a Part 2 😊✨

We’ve got an email template you can use when responding to an interview invite! 📧
When responding to an employer, you must ensure you’re courteous and grateful for the interview invite and be willing to provide them with documents to help with background checks, should you become successful.
So next time you receive an email similar to the one in this post, apply this and you will give out a good impression to the employer. They will note down that you responded to their email invite in a courteous manner 😊
