💚 Charity Fundraising Round-up 💚

📕 Chris Bradford Author Visit 📕

Last week we welcomed best-selling children’s author Chris Bradford. Chris’s books in the Young Samurai,
Bodyguard and Gamer series have sold millions of copies and he is renowned for his ‘method writing’ technique. He is a black belt martial artist, a qualified professional bodyguard and a former musician. He addressed pupils briefly at assembly before diving into ‘method writing’ workshops throughout the day!!!

🎣 Fishing Assembly 🎣

Last week we were visited by Charles Jardine, who is the National Director for The Countryside Alliance spoke to the boys about his 69 years of experience. He shared how the fishing for schools mission is to be the leading provider of angling education for disadvantaged children and young people in England and Wales. The boys had so many questions and thoroughly enjoyed Charles’ many stories from his best catch to his most unsuccessful catch!

The Devin Trip continued with an exciting tree top adventure, pool matches, t-shirt design and a trip to a theme park! Thankfully no boys were lost in the maze 🥳

🌟 Year 5 Devon Trip Part 1🌟

This year’s trip to Devon with Year 5 kicked off with a splash! Boys hopped off the train straight into fun sporting and leisure activities and even had a chance to visit an indoor waterpark 💧 🛝

🍃 Geography Society Trip 🍃

This morning the Geography Society went on their annual summer trip to the Heath! They took part in bird watching, tree identification, weather reporting and human geography surveys. Great start to the Friday ☀️ 🌳
