Meet our founder!

Annabel Howell was born and raised in London, before starting her undergraduate degree at Duke University. She is a political science major specialising in economics and computer science and is minoring in Chinese.

Annabel founded CTC during the pandemic after she realised that knowledge of coding languages was becoming an invaluable asset to navigating the increasingly competitive working world. Many of us suddenly found ourselves with much more time on our hands, so what better time to gain new skills?

Her desire to share her knowledge and previous teaching experience manifested itself in an introductory Python coding course to help people fill the time by learning a useful skill as well as helping them build foundations to make the post-covid job market easier to navigate.

Outside of university Annabel is a teacher at The Coding School and a Fellow at Rewriting the Code, so you’re in excellent hands.
